Frame Restoration
We can help with minor repairs and the restoration of existing frames. Work to date includes:
- removal of a dead fly from within the frame and replacement of the original float glass with ArtGlass Anti Reflective glass;
- repairing a broken frame corner joint and replacement of original float glass with ArtGlass Anti Reflective glass;
- remounting and reframing artwork;
- replacing broken glass;
- resealing a frame with new tape.

Scope of Restoration
- Artwork "Dry Mounted" to control "cockling"
- New "Non-Glare" glass fitted (True Vue Reflection Control)
- New mountboard cut and enhanced with border decoration
- New backing board fitted
- Moulding cleaned and resealed
- Broken frame replaced with multi-window double mount to emulate the original multi window black frame
- 5 items of artwork individually hinged onto back board
- Fitted with clear glass providing 99% UV filter (True Vue Conservation Clear)
- All materials sourced as Conservation grade
- Broken corner repaired
- New "Reflection Free" glass fitted (Artglass Clear View)
- Resealed rear of frame
- New cord and rings fitted
